About The Author

I have been on the web since 1991 though I didn’t really understand its potential until a friend showed me my first webpage in the fall of 1993 and as soon as I saw it, I knew I was looking at the future.
I was teaching at the time and, even then, the web showed incredible educational promise where students could do research and learn remotely. Of course, they also discovered that research papers were available free and for money online, so I got a lot more professional sounding work. The sad thing for the students was that, even then, the web was easy to search and all I had to do was search on a slightly unique phrase from the paper to discover the original.
